- Spoiler:
- Just Super
Real name:Thomas Ellis
Alias: Thomas doesn't go by hero names. However, he does prefer being called Tom, as most places he's been to, there was always at least three other people named Thomas, so he goes by Tom to make things simpler. Citizens, however, have started to call him “Thunder Fist,” due to his electrical martial arts techniques.
Alignment: Neutral, leaning towards Hero.
Age: 20 years old
Gender: Last Thomas checked, he was male. Give him just a second... yeah, he's still a guy.
Race: Mutated/Altered Human (no, not like X-Men where you have a gene for super powers. An accident scrambled his genes slightly.
Place of origin: born and raised in the countryside, Thomas recently moved to the city.
Physical Description: Thomas is 6'1, and weighs in at about 160 pounds. His skin has a healthy tan which he attributes to living out in the countryside, AKA “The Middle Of Nowhere.” strong looking, but not a body builder look, as though he doesn't spend his days in a gym, but instead outside, working. His hair goes down to his shoulders, and is a dark brown that is close enough to black that he calls it black, and his eyes are a bluish green. His lightning powers are bluish white in color.
Costume Description: Thomas doesn't really go for the whole “Secret Identity” concept, so he doesn't have a “costume”, per say. However, he usually is wearing dark blue jeans on his legs, as well as white T-shirt with dark blue sleeves. The shirt usually has no logos or anything of the sort on them. He also wears black tennis shoes, size 11, that fit comfortably on his feet. He carries no weapons on his person, trusting in his abilities, and other than a plain brown, leather belt, and a silver ring on his left index finger, he has no accessories.
History: ((OOC Note: As I write this, I have no internet, so I cannot tell if this method for getting superpowers has been done before. Personally, I don't care, either. I thought this history up myself, and that makes it original, even if it's been done before.)) Thomas was born normally... except on the way home from his birth, his mother was drove through a storm. This storm was started in another city, where a nuclear facility suffered it's core melting down. A bolt of lightning struck the car, and the engine died. Panicking, the nurse checked Thomas' infantile vitals, but was surprised by him being okay. The nurse was concerned about the electricity getting to the gas tank, and igniting the fuel, so she grabbed her umbrella, and walked the new family the rest of the way home. It's not like they were that far away. Unbeknowest to the nurse, Thomas' mother, or even Thomas himself, his genes were scrambled by the radioactive particles of electricity that surged through his system. His mother and the nurse, both grown people who's genes were more comfortably settled, were unaffected by the bolt (besides getting the crap scared out of them). However, the idea that Thomas would have powers didn't occur to anyone, and the only one to discover these powers was Thomas himself, at the age of seven. This knowledge, that he had power over electricity, scared him for one main reason. Back in school, everyone was saying that people with powers were monsters that shouldn't be accepted. He witnessed people with powers getting picked on, bullied, even stoned, and, out of fear for his safety, and for the safety of others, kept them a secret from everyone. Other than occasionally practicing his powers in his room, he just forgot about them... then he was almost discovered with his powers at the age of 15. Afterward, he kept himself down in the garage, where he had more space to practice anyways. At age 17, he started to take classes for martial arts to know ow to defend himself if the need arose. This was more a concern of Thomas' mother's than his own, as he still hadn't told anyone of his abilities. However, he decided to take this as an opportunity, and after going to classes to learn martial arts, Thomas would go to the garage and... adapt them to his abilities. Open fisted attacks, usually with electricity in between his fingers to provide a stunning “taser” like attack, to make an example. At the age of 19, he was with a girl when some of the bullies started to pick on them. One pushed him, and Thomas' body shocked him... badly. And so his powers were revealed. After hiding from people who were prejudiced towards “Freaks” and “Monsters”, Thomas left for the city, deciding to make a name for himself, intending to prove people's opinions about people with powers as false.
Personality: Thomas has a shell around him, not really opening up. Mainly, this is due to his fear of nonacceptance. He is rather shy on the outside. On the inside, however, he is actually very sociable, willing to talk to you about anything. He is willing to do whatever it takes for the Greater Good, but is really defensive of his friends. You can talk smack/disrespect/insult/name call/ generally be rude towards Thomas all day long, and he won't get too upset, but he goes completely off his hinges if someone messes with those he cares about. Sometimes, Thomas wishes he could do more to help the people, but he already does all he can, which is rather enough, for the time. He enjoys root beer and heavy metal music like he enjoys cake and ice cream, and enjoys pop and rap music like he enjoys receiving a good, solid kick in the face. He has a good moral compass, but sometimes he wonders why nobody wants anyone with powers to help. Everyone he's helped so far made him out to be the villain, and he's sometimes tempted to prove them right. Thomas enjoys fantasy novels, and books about mythology, as well as mysteries. Also, he enjoys walking through the parks, as he enjoys nature, and has an eagerness to learn that is hardly able to be rivaled. His attitude is best described by one of his own phrases when he encounters food; “What's this? Can I try it?”
Powers: Thomas is a bit of a melee powerhouse, preferring close combat to down range dominance. Thomas can make an electrical whip about ten meters long that he can use to latch onto people or objects. People caught in this manner suffer about the same as they would if they were struck by a taser. However, there is enough of a charge that any gunpowder in any guns will be cooked off, destroying the gun in the process. His hands are always electrified enough to cook off guns like the Thunder Whip, but they usually aren't powerful enough to harm someone unless he willfully charges his hands with electricity. In addition, when his hands are “charged” in this manner, anything he holds in his hands becomes charged with electricity. Don't let him catch your melee weapon! He can also make a shield of electrical energy that protects him from gunfire, albeit for a very brief moment (like, a full second, if it was in RL time). The electrical shield does not protect him from explosive damage or other super powered attacks (unless the super powered attacks are electrical. If electrical, he absorbs the electricity instead. (if this is forbidden, sorry. I saw the rule on nullifying powers, and was merely curious here)) Capable of firing bolts from his fingers, but this is rather draining, and he prefers melee anyways. This drains power, and after 7 shots, is out of charge. If out of charge, Thomas can't use any powers, and needs to contact an electricity source to drain it. If Thomas still has a charge left to him, he can recharge from a short distance, connecting with the energy source and then sucking it out of the source into his own body. Also, when he's out of charge, he is less resistant to damage, less hard hitting, and is slower both in movement in reflexes. When electrical storms are in the area, Thomas' abilities are naturally twice as strong, due to the electrified atmosphere, and can even call down a lightning bolt from the sky. However, he can only call down one powerful bolt at a time, and this instantly drains and weakens him, and usually leaves him close to unconciousness. Also, Thomas can touch electrical objects, and if he focuses, he can “hack” some electrical objects. Not technology like computers, or phones. Those jut get fried. He can hack substations, however, reconnecting circuits, redirecting currents, and can even destroy them if he wishes. There is a powerful substation attack that Thomas can utilize. When holding the substation, or some main component to the substation, he can fire a powerful electrical pulse that acts something like a rocket; he can steer it, aim it towards enemies, and let it detonate with an electrical explosion that arcs electricity around an area. (note: on this power, due to it being somewhat of an electrical missile attack that doesn't drain Thomas, I'll make a point of Pming the Admin for approval for Thomas to use the attack each time. Or he just can't do Tesla Rockets)
Not exactly powers here, but I didn't know where to put them: Thomas has good reflexes due to multiple training in the martial arts. Very stealthy, when he puts his mind to it. Good climbing ability. Skilled in staff, blade weapons, and in fighting unarmed (his preferred weapons are his electrical hands, though).
Reasons are unknown, but Thomas cannot be submersed in water deeper than halfway up to his knees, as the electricity in his body will apparently double back and electrocute him, harming him. He CAN stand under running water like, say, a shower, or rain, but he can't move through high, standing water, nor should he attempt to pull someone from water (no heroic dives to rescue a drowning person, sorry.) Thomas can stick his feet in up to halfway up his ankles without charging the water (assuming he doesn't actively send electrical energy to his feet.), but cannot touch water with fingers/hands without making it deadly to others. He is immune to the electrical charge of tasers or electrical attacks at taser strength, but has no other defenses against attacks (with the possible exception of the Shock Wall) in addition, when submersed in water, the water around Thomas in a three meter radius becomes highly charged, and uninhabitable by any form of life, up to and including Thomas, and even electric eels and clownfish. Yes, I am aware that electric eels are electrical, and are usually resistant to that sort of thing, and that the coating of mucus protects clownfish from the sea anemone, but this isn't the kind of electricity normally found in water, so it would naturally kill the fish too.
RP Example:
Thomas didn't like what he was seeing. He sat on top of a building, looking down in an alley as two men, one with a gun, tried to mug a small family. One kid, two parents. This had to stop. Dropping into the alley, Thomas landed with a thud, raising a cloud of dust as he landed. Now to get them away from the family. “So...” Thomas began. “what do we have here... isn't this a school night? Why can't you just leave these people alone?” the other guy grabbed a lead pipe while his friend with the gun trained it on his head. Lead pipe, gunpowder... this was going to be really messy... for the muggers. “folks,” Thomas said. “you might want to cover the kid. This will hurt.” The armed thug clicked his gun, and Thomas barely had time to swing his hands upward, making an electrical shield that the bullets bounced off of, and impaled into the walls. The shield faded too quickly for Thomas' liking. If the guy decided to just hold the trigger, the boy would have been blown away after the shield wore off. As it was, the thug looked at him dumbfounded, then raised the gun again. Before he fired, Thomas twirled his hand in the air, making a whip of electricity, and with a flick of his wrist, coiled it around the gun, jerking it away from the thug before it discharged in the guy's face. Then the whip dissipated, and he waited as the thug with the pipe charged him, swinging it like a baseball bat. Thomas caught the bar in his hands with little difficulty. It kinda hurt, but not as much as the other guy would. “you know what's really dumb?” Thomas asked. “Fighting a dude with electrical powers... by swinging a metal object at his head.” Thomas charged electricity to his fingers, which arced through the pipe, and into the thug's body. Now, the thing about electricity reacting to the body, it makes the muscles clench, which is the only reason that the thug tightened his grip on the pipe when Thomas zapped him. When Thomas released the charge, the thug let go, still screaming as he looked at the electrical burns on his hands. Meanwhile, Thomas went to work. Thomas' left hand, which was holding the pipe near the center, released the pipe as his right hand, near the end, swung it into an uppercut swing as he hit it in the guy's chin. Dropping the pipe, Thomas walked towards the other thug, who “wisely” didn't grab a pipe. He tossed a stone, though, which Thomas managed to duck. The would-be-tough started to back up till he felt the wall at his back, and Thomas planted his shoe into the guy's chest. “Dude,” Thomas began, “I'm fairly certain that you didn't bargain for this. Getting the hell beat out of you by some human light socket. I know I'd be upset. So do yourself a favor. Give up this life. Get a job, make a decent name for yourself. Because if you don't, if I ever catch you pointing a gun at some kid again...” Thomas raised a hand, and electricity arced between his fingers as he gave the tough a dark look. The thug nodded quickly, banging his head on the brick behind him as he did. “Glad to see you can understand me.” Thomas said. “Now, of course, I meant all this for, well, after you spend some time in jail to think about what you've done, so...” the electricity in his hands died, but his foot (the one on the ground, not the one on the thug's chest) suddenly was charged with electricity. Thomas removed the foot from the thug's chest only to remove the other foot from the ground to kick the guy in the face in a decent spinning kick. “Look,” Thomas then said to the family. “You're going to have to call the cops here. I can't touch a phone without destroying it, so... you'll have to do it.” the family looked on silently, and Thomas turned away, heading for the mouth of the alleyway. He hadn't expected thanks. After all, them not trying to stone him was thanks enough. “Wait!” he heard, and turned just in time to be hugged by the boy. This... this was unexpected. The boy buried his face in Thomas' shirt. “Thanks for saving mom...” the boy said. Thomas felt... good, to be honest. Felt good to be treated like a good guy... for this boy to call him a hero... pretty nice... the mother walked up to him. “Do you... do you enjoy cookies? I was planning on making some.” Thomas smiled, then heard sirens. “Ma'am... I'd love to, but if that means anything, it means duty calls. If you feel like it, leave them next to a window, and keep it closed, but unlatched. I may swing by again.” at that, Thomas turned and ran. After all... it was his duty.
Freddy and Lara Osborne (Pending approval)
- Spoiler:
- Real name: Freddy and Lara Osborne
Alias: The Shadow (Freddy), The Ghost (Lara) (Also, they have a tendency to call each other “Bro,” and “Sis” respectively. They're siblings, after all.)
Alignment: Villain (Freddy) // Hero (Lara)
Age: Twins at age 16
Gender: Freddy is Male, Lara is female
Race: Human
Place of origin: England
Physical Description:
Freddy is 5'8, 130 pounds. His hair is short and dark. Eyes are a deep blue except when using powers, at which point they are totally black in color. His skin is pale, almost as though drained of color, but his veins are black in sharp contrast to his skin. Wears dark clothing, black nail polish, and is deep in voice, as though from a dark pit in the earth. Not buff, but muscular.
Lara is also 5'8, but is 127 pounds. Her hair is long and blonde. Her eyes are a very pale blue in color with the exception of when she uses her powers, at which point they are as white as marble. Her skin is pale, almost as though drained of color, and she has pale blue veins barely visible against her skin. Wears light colored and faded clothing, no nail polish. Her voice is soft, and gentle, like mist in a gentle wind. Not that muscular, and is in fact rather frail.
Costume Description:
Freddy wears black wraparound shades, a black t-shirt, black denim jeans, black socks, and black shoes. Over his shirt, he wears a black leather jacket, and he also wears black leather gloves on his hands. His belt is a small steel chain that has been spray painted black. What's more, his actual physical appearance changes to where he is a black boned skeleton if he so chooses, which is usually when he tries for the fear approach (Which is more than half the time). Black smoke comes off his body in wisps.
Lara's costume is more simple, and while less badass, it suits her more than Freddy's outfit. She wears a simple, sleeveless white dress that goes down to above her ankles, but she also has on a pair of tan leggings underneath for reason of the fact that the dress tends to billow around her, especially when she's using her powers. She also wears faded blue slip on shoes over her feet. Pale grey mist billows around her, especially around her feet, obscuring them. She also wears white cloth gloves that go to her elbows, and has a silver chained, pendant necklace on her throat, the pendant being a clear jewel.
History: Freddy and Lara have had a shared history (Obviously). After their drunk mother abandoned them to a foster home at the age of 4, they grew up together, Freddy being more the commanding brother. He did his level best to raise his sister up right, but sometimes she raised him more than he did her. When they discovered their powers, a schism slowly started to grow between the twins. Freddy didn't see how their powers would get people to like them, and decided that if they wouldn't love them, they would fear them. Lara differed, however, and always tried to get Freddy to do what is right. As they grew, they started to develop their powers, and to get a handle on their abilities. Occasionally, they would spar against one another to train, and get better. Then Lara suddenly decided to stop training him after he attempted to kill someone who stole from a bank. After this, the twins went their separate ways. They still have contact with each other, but tensions are thick between them. Over time, Freddy started to make a name for himself in the criminal underworld. There was a shadowy creature that was willing to do any job, send some messages... but he also played both sides of the law when it suited his purposes. He was disloyal, and untrustworthy unless paid in advance. In spite of the rift between them, Freddy would kill to defend his sister.
Personality: Fear. Freddy lives for the fear of others. He seems to thrive on it, in fact. A dark child, he enjoys being a creature of darkness. Striking at night, he preys on evil, but isn't above crossing the line of the law if it helps him get what he wants. He is used to getting what he wants, and believes himself above all rules, and all boundaries. One of his favorite quotes is that all things come to he who waits, but quicker yet to he who takes. He enjoys the suffering of others, and he also enjoys pain... to deliver it, that is. Good with torture, and for generally scaring the Hell out of you.
Lara seeks to heal the hurts caused by her brother. A caring soul, she feels sorry for those who have suffered, and wishes to help where she can. Where her brother is harsh and cruel, she is soft and gentle. In all respects, she is the yin to Freddy's yang. However, she is still defensive of him, in spite of the rift between them. She'll still put him behind bars if possible, but she'll still defend him when she can. She also seems to give a sense of sadness, as though she feels pain and regret for her brother's actions.
Powers:
A note about the powers before we actually list them and start getting all technical about them. There are some powers that both can do, but they are colored differently. For Freddy, it's black smoke, for Lara, it's grey mist. In addition, there are some powers that are exclusive to either one or the other. Powers will be listed, then be either labeled as such; (Freddy), (Lara), or (Both), and then a description of the power will be provided to make things more clear as to what the power actually is. Now that the note's done, on to the actual powers.
Freddy can create and control black smoke, and Lara can create and control a grey, foglike mist.
Shroud (Both): Called fog by Lara, and smokescreen by Freddy, they possess the capability to exude large amounts of their elements to obscure themselves and their allies. However, this does not hamper their own ability to see within their OWN Shrouds. They cannot see through each others', nor can allies see clearly through the Shroud, but they themselves can see clearly through it. In fact, see the power listed directly below.
Dissolve (Both): both can turn into clouds of their chosen element. They are immune to physical damage in this form, but cannot attack in it, either.
Omnipotent Vision (Both): Freddy and Lara are both able to see whatever is going on inside the Shroud they create, no matter their own location or the location of enemies within their shroud. They do NOT have Omnipotent Vision outside the Shroud, nor do they have Omnipotent vision within each other's cloud, regardless of whether or not they're still in they're cloud.
Wings of Shadow (Freddy): Freddy can create great wings of darkness that he can use to fly.
Rising Cloud (Lara) Lara's lower body becomes shrouded in fog, and she uses this to “Float” through the air, where Freddy's wings are more true flight.
Choking Cloud (Freddy): Freddy can make black, noxious fumes exude around him to choke enemies. Can be defeated with a gas mask, being underwater, or simply not needing to breath.
Healing Mist (Lara): Lara's cloud has the capability to slowly heal whomever she deems fit. Respiration of fog required to take effect. Healing rate broken arm in five posts.
The Shadow (Freddy): when in Shadow form (that is, skeleton body), his hands are clawed.
Tendrils (Freddy): From shadows that already exist, Freddy can make tendrils appear that grab whatever he chooses.
Fog Elementals (Lara): Lara, with much concentration, can create living entities of fog that use tentacles to attack and bind foes.
*Note, not actually powers below
Freddy and Lara are decent fighters due to training with each other for a long time, until recently, their training has stopped.
Freddy has a switchblade knife and a lead pipe, but prefers his clawed hands.
RP Example: (Only needed on the first form.)
Amyna Ross (Pending approval)
- Spoiler:
- Real name: Amyna Ross
Alias: The Firebird
Alignment: Heroine
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Race: Human/Avian hybrid
Place of origin: America
Physical Description: When not in costume, Amyna looks quite normal. 5'8, with long, blonde hair. Her skin is pale, but not unnaturally so, like honey cream. She weighs in at about 92 pounds, but is not actually underweight. She has a normal build, but her bones are hollow like a bird's, so she weighs lighter. She dresses in colorful, but simple clothing, like a pair of blue jeans, and a spaghetti strap shirt that's red in color. When the weather calls for a jacket, she wears a light blue jacket over her shirt. In all reality, she seems to resemble a stereotypical girl, except for her eyes, which totally ruin the look. The pupils of her eyes are as dark as coal, and the irises are as red as fire, while the cornea is white as ash. Another feature that makes Amyna look different is her features are more sharp, like that of a bird's, almost.
Costume Description: Amyna's hair is a fiery red, literally. Her blonde hair burns in their own heat, but is not consumed by it. Her face has a red, bandit like mask over her eyes that seems to resemble a raccoon's mask, except it's made from small, fiery red feathers. Her eyes, which already looked fiery, are now balls of fire in her eyes. Her chest and shoulders is covered in red, orange, and yellow feathers, as are her hands, up to her forearms. Her hands are slightly clawed, but they're also on fire (just up to the wrist), so the claws are slightly difficult to notice. Yes, there is a patch of skin between her arms and shoulders that isn't feathered. Her entire upper arm is bare, to be precise. Below the waist looks more normalish. A reddish orange skirt that falls down to her knees, and yet still is dotted lightly with feathers. Her feet are in black shoes (slip on) and white stockings that go up to, but do not cover, the knees. Legs are also feathered. Wings/Tail feathers are reddish orange as well, but are covered in flames. Wings and Tail feathers are not visible when Amyna isn't flying.
History: Amyna's mother was infertile. So, she went to some doctors who said they would help. So they went about it in the usual way. Take a fertile egg cell, fertilize it, and put it back in the mother. Except one of the doctors had an idea for an experiment, and didn't notify anyone as he went to do this. Seriously, some doctor decided to see what would happen if they impregnated a human egg cell with bird DNA, and then fertilized it. The avian DNA obtained was from none other than the legendary firebird known as the Phoenix. When the mother had the egg injected back into her, she, nor most of the other doctors knew about the child's changed DNA. The mother gave birth to Amyna, and was startled to see the girl covered in fledgeling feathers. A quick test exposed the avian DNA, though none knew where it came from. The mother decided to keep Amyna, in spite of her bird blood, and grew to care for and love Amyna, but she still successfully sued the hell out of the hospital for malpractice, and truth be told, some of the innocent doctors had no problem testifying against their bosses for this injustice. Aside from the Judiciary troubles, the mom raised the girl as though she were her her own human daughter, but she had a scare when her daughter was suddenly, swinging calmly on the swingset, on fire. Calling some of the doctors who were on her side in the case, they ran a couple more tests, and the Phoenix's blood was identified for what it was. They saw a specialist in people who were labeled as “Gifted.” that is, a person whom was comfortable having all his clients have superpowers. Dr. Hudson made it clear to the mom that Amyna was his client, and not the mom himself, but he didn't be a jerk about it. “After all,” he would say, “it's not about you that you came to me for, is it?” satisfied with his argument, the mother allowed him to make multiple appointments for Amyna. He described himself as a “Life Therapist for those who have been gifted”, so he didn't charge for the visit. He usually charged 250 dollars for a year's work. As Amyna grew, Dr. Hudson instructed her on how to focus her abilities, how each “Gifted” child was different somehow, and that they all had strengths and weaknesses. Under his tutelage, she grew to understand her powers, and control them, master them. She made sense of her various weaknesses, besides the obvious ones like water, and grew confident. At the age of seventeen, she decided to try making a costume for herself. One Halloween (age 15), she decided to use her abilities to make a costume for Halloween, and was complimented on doing such a good job. See costume description for what it looked like, but remove all fire, and that was her Halloween costume. She grew feathers, and the outfit appeared on her body. The girl then thought it needed a little bit more to it, and set her hair and hands on fire. After giving her costume a few more touch-ups to her costume, she extinguished the fires, and was able to change back into her clothes without incident. She talked to her mother about it, who's only concern was that Amyna be safe, and Amyna left to be a hero...
Personality: Amyna herself is a bit of a hot head. She can get hot tempered quickly, and it shows when she's angry. Her personality varies between angry and happy, and is hardly ever sad. Sad is bad for her, as it weakens her powers. She has a shell around her, because she knows some people are not accepting of “freaks”, but if you can get past her shell, she's almost always nice to you. If you make her mad, though, watch out, as she will give you a world of pain, and you will know the full burning fury of her wrath. Her personality affects her powers as well. When she's angry, her powers tend to be a lot more chaotic. She has a good head on her shoulders, and has a clear concept of right and wrong, and how to balance the two, and was taught to do what is right. She is very defensive of those she cares for, and would destroy anyone trying to hurt them.
Powers: Amyna obviously has powers over fire. But we'll get into that later.
Amyna is able to grow feathers that grow into the costume described above underneath her regular clothing. When needed, she grows the costume, and then ignites into fire, burning away her regular outfit as her costume is revealed. The clothes are destroyed, of course. She knows this, and would sooner run into an alley to strip her outfit off and stuff it in a bag to hide as opposed to burning it. When she no longer needs her costume, she can moult it off with no difficulty, but she would need to find some clothes. The feathers dispose of themselves via burning away. On to her other powers.
Amyna can ignite her hands on fire for temperatures up to 2000 degrees Fahrenheit, to burn foes.
Amyna can also make flaming kicks if she so chooses.
Amyna also can explode into fire, burning everything in a five foot radius, including any clothing she was wearing beforehand if she wasn't already in costume.
For obvious reasons, Amyna is fireproof, and explosions cannot harm her either save for the shrapnel, if any. (thus, a napalm grenade would be useless. She cannot be burned by flammable liquids set alight, either, up to and including oil, gasoline, and napalm.
Amyna can also grow large, red/orange wings to fly. She also grows tail feathers that stream behind her to assist in her flight. Wings and tail feathers are on fire.
Amyna can shoot balls of fire from her hands, scorching foes, and can also shoot “grenades” of fire that explode in a diameter of 5 feet upon contact with anything but water (for obvious reasons). They have an applicable range of how far she can throw a baseball ((Aproximately 20 feet))
Amyna is weaker in rainstorms, down to the point where if it's raining hard enough, she can't even ignite her powers.
(not powers here, but she should be able to do something that Rain can't stop.) She can also run faster and jump higher than normal humans due to hollow bones. She can still fly when it rains, her feathers just aren't on fire. She also still has her clawed hands as weapons. Also has brown belt in karate. More susceptible to bone damage due to hollow bones.
RP Example: (Only needed on the first form.)

Re: The Legion of the Black
Thunder is taken by the DC comics franchise.
That personality doesn't sound like much of a personality. Same goes for costume description.
If he isn't good or evil, simply say that he is neutral.

Re: The Legion of the Black
I didn't know the name was taken, but the point is.
Edit: changed the name
I'll get on it.
Edit: Ok, I realized that the reason there's not much to his description is because he's rather plainclothes, to be honest. not much is special to him besides his abilities.
understood.
Edit: I added his alignment to the description.

Re: The Legion of the Black
Did you actually read my character rules? Go back and read them again. Thouroughly.
You cannot have AC/DC as a name.
Also, my character Penn runs around in jeans and a hoodie. I think you need to go into more detail on costume and personality. I'll quote Penn as a example.
Another note: My boyfriend pointed out that this is the exact history taken from Brutal Legend. You need to come up with your own.
Thanks.

Black Ink wrote:Illustrator's costume is simple. She's a simple girl. She can't really afford to get a proper suit so she'll run around fighting crime in her jeans and a hoodie. Beneath the hoodie, she wears her paint splattered t-shirts.
It's rare she removes her hoodie but it does happen from time to time. Her t-shirts vary everyday. The only thing she does to hide her identity is wear her black mask. Her hoodies are usually black or navy blue. Her jeans are dark colours and ripped at the bottom of each leg. Her converse shoes are black, blues or red. They all have doodles on them (black marker on the blues and the red, white fabric paint on her black pairs).
Personality: Penny has a need to be validated in order to feel worthy; she pursues success and wants to be admired for her art. Incredibly competetive and highly focused in the pursuit of her goals, she often disregards her own feelings in order to strive for accolades. It's always a case of "What's in it for me?" with her. She has a lot of energy and often embodies a kind of zest for life (and sometimes death) that others find contagious. She's very creative in the way she thinks, disorganized and often cynical. Although she does know how to rise through the ranks. She has a fear of becoming a "loser" and forever being unknown. She also has arsonphobia and she's wary of men (although she'll open up to one if they check out ok). She's a talented artist, using paints, ink, pencils, chalk, pastels, charcoals, clay and even origami in her works.
Another note: My boyfriend pointed out that this is the exact history taken from Brutal Legend. You need to come up with your own.
Thanks.
Re: The Legion of the Black
Just Super. I revamped my character. yes, some of the powers sound like their from inFamous, but seriously, what can be done with lightning that hasn't been done by the game?
and I never heard of Thunder before you told me he was taken by the franchise, so I thought it was ok then. sorry.
